Family-Owned & Faith-Rooted

A Family-Owned Builder You Can Trust

Building is more than Archstone Homes’ business. It’s part of the family’s story.

Years of hands-on renovation and construction experience shaped a company built around a simple belief: homeowners deserve skilled work, straightforward communication, and a contractor who takes responsibility for the final result.

Today, Archstone Homes builds and remodels homes throughout West Michigan with the same focus on craftsmanship, family, faith, and integrity.

The Archstone Homes Team

Owner & Lead Carpenter

Brent Wierenga

Brent leads Archstone Homes with hands-on craftsmanship and a strong commitment to quality. After years of renovating homes and working across nearly every part of residential construction, he brings practical experience to the details that determine whether a project is simply finished or truly finished well.

He remains actively involved in the work rather than managing projects only from behind a desk. He enjoys life at home with his wife and five kids, often bringing his son along to job sites to learn the trade.

Favorite Dad Joke: “I told my wife she should embrace her mistakes… so she hugged me.”

Kevin Offringa

Kevin keeps complex projects organized from the first inquiry through the final walkthrough. He manages scheduling, proposals, quoting, communication, and the countless details that allow homeowners to understand what is happening and what comes next.

Outside the office, Kevin enjoys traveling with his wife Amber and their daughter, grilling in the summer, and fueling his days with iced coffee.

Favorite Dad Joke: “My favorite exercise is a cross between a lunge and a crunch… I call it lunch.”

Remodel Estimator

Kurt Wierenga

Kurt brings practical construction insight to remodeling estimates and helps homeowners turn ideas into realistic scopes, materials, and project expectations. As a full-time firefighter who handles estimating on his off days, his straightforward approach gives clients a clear picture of their project before construction begins.

Favorite Dad Joke: “I always tell clients not to panic — I’ve handled hotter situations.”
